List of F&O prohibitions: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday (November 26) banned three stocks from trading in the futures and options (F&O) segment as they exceeded 95 per cent of the market-wide position limit (MWPL). ).

However, these shares will be available for trading in the spot market. The NSE updates the list of securities banned from F&O trading on a daily basis.

List of F&O bans today

Aarti Industries, GNFC and Pellets India are the three stocks on the NSE’s F&O banned list on November 26.

The National Stock Exchange said derivative contracts on these securities exceeded 95% of the market-wide position limit and were placed within the exchange’s blackout period.

“All clients/members shall trade the derivative contracts of the said security only to reduce their positions through offsetting positions. Any increase in open positions will result in appropriate penal and disciplinary action,” the NSE statement said.

No new positions are allowed when exchanges place F&O contracts on a particular stock during the blackout period.

On November 25, benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty surged more than 1 percent, helped by a rally in blue-chip stocks and thanks to the BJP putting in a stunning performance in Maharashtra, winning a record number of seats to propel the ruling Mahayuti alliance, led by party, towards an overwhelming victory. .

Continuing its strong rally from the previous day, the BSE benchmark Sensex surged 992.74 points, or 1.25 per cent, to settle at 80,109.85. During the day, it rose 1,355.97 points, or 1.71 percent, to 80,473.08.

In total, 2,697 stocks rose, 1,352 fell and 165 remained unchanged.

The NSE Nifty jumped 314.65 points or 1.32 percent to 24,221.90.

The BSE small-cap index jumped 1.86 per cent and the mid-cap index rose 1.61 per cent.

All sectoral indices ended higher. Industrial products climbed 3.29 percent, capital goods (3.27 percent), oil and gas (3.26 percent), energy (2.56 percent), l real estate (2.22 percent), bankex (2.06 percent), financial services (1.89 percent). ) and health care (0.97 percent).
