Barcelona star emerges from Las Palmas shock

Barcelona star Alejandro Balde was forced to leave the club’s encounter with Las Palmas early, amid some truly worrying scenes.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course currently in action in the Catalan capital.

In search of a first league victory in three, Barcelona welcomed the said Las Palmas to Montjuïc.

So far, neither team has managed to make a crucial breakthrough, amid a hotly contested first half so far.

The main topic of discussion therefore came in the form of a new blow for Barcelona.

After colliding with former Blaugrana talent Sandro Ramírez just after 20 minutes this afternoon, Alejandro Balde immediately collapsed, visibly distressed.

Television cameras at Montjuïc clearly showed that defender Balde was seriously suffering from a neck problem, as if he was about to vomit.

After the host medical team attempted to guide the youngster off the field on foot, Balde collapsed on the turf, resulting in a stretcher being brought onto the playing field.

From there, the Spain international was transported straight into the tunnel, amid alarming scenes for all Barcelona supporters.

An update on his well-being is expected shortly.
