Trump chooses Massad Boulos as adviser on Arab and Middle East affairs

United States President-elect Donald Trump said on Sunday that Lebanese-American businessman Massad Boulos would serve as senior adviser for Arab and Middle East affairs.

Trump made the announcement on his social media platform Truth Social. Boulos, the father-in-law of Trump’s daughter Tiffany, held several meetings with Arab American and Muslim leaders during the election campaign.

This was the second time in recent days that Asset chose the stepfather of one of his children to serve in his administration.

In recent months, Boulos has campaigned for Trump to mobilize support among Lebanese and Arab Americans, even as Israel’s U.S.-backed military campaign against Hezbollah Lebanon.
