Trump ‘considers proposal to abandon Iran’s nuclear program’

Donald Trumpthe new American president, would consider an American attack against Iranian nuclear sites.

Attack is now facing more serious scrutiny, according to a Wall Street Journal report citing anonymous sources, after the fall of Bashar al-Assad in Syria and Iran’s advancement of its nuclear program.

Trump reportedly expressed concern Benjamin NetanyahuIsraeli prime minister, about an Iranian nuclear breakthrough on his watch, two people familiar with their conversation said.

The president-elect is not interested in a new war that would involve the U.S. military, the report added, meaning Trump is considering several options.

One solution would be to send more US forces, planes and ships to the Middle East, as well as directing bunker busting bombs towards Israel in order to military pressure on Iran.

Experts widely believe that Israel needs U.S. bunker busting bombs to launch an effective strike against Iran’s nuclear sites, some of which are deep underground and difficult to penetrate with conventional bombs.

Another option is to use a combination of military threats and American sanctions to force Iran into a diplomatic solution.

The latter was part of the “maximum pressure” campaign led by Trump during his first presidency and which produced no results.

As Trump continues to evaluate his options, it has been reported that the Israeli military sees this as a golden opportunity for an Israeli government. attack against Iranian nuclear sites.

According to Israeli media, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) is increasingly preparing for an attack following the fall of Assad in Syria, which weakened the Iranian axis.

The Israeli military says it now has complete air superiority over Syria after destroying Assad air defense systems.

“The Syrian air defense system is one of the most powerful in the Middle East and the blow represents a significant achievement for the superiority of the air force in the region,” they said.

So now is the time to strike from a military perspective, as it gives Israeli warplanes a clear path to Iran.

Mr. Netanyahu has repeatedly warned that he would not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons, making multiple military threats over the years.

On Thursday, he addressed the Iranian people again in a video message and said they would soon be “free” from the regime, in what appears to be another allusion to Israel’s desire to overthrow Iran’s Islamic regime.

“Women, life, freedom, zan, zendegi, azadi. This is the future of Iran. This is the future of peace. And I have no doubt that we will achieve this future together much sooner than we think,” Mr. Netanyahu added.
