Selena Gomez And Benny Blanco just got engaged and people are convinced the proposal was a collaboration with Taco Bell.

The singer announced the happy news on Instagram, sharing a series of photos with the caption: “Forever begins now.”

It looks like they got engaged during a romantic picnic in the park, but if you look closely at the photos, something isn’t quite right.

Was their special moment really sponsored by the Mexican fast food chain? Here is all the evidence.

There’s a Taco Bell box on the picnic blanket

You probably didn’t notice it at first, but if you zoom in on the picnic blanket, you’ll see a Taco Bell box and the logo faces the camera perfectly. In front of the basket and the bottle of champagne, there are also plates with Taco Bell food, and they look way too staged.

The entire proposal was produced in the studio

If you thought the grass and trees looked a little fake. You were right! Selena posted a video to her Instagram Story that proves Benny didn’t get down on one knee in a park at all. It was a recording studio! You can literally see the cameras and the lights. Why would they do that in a studio?!

Selena is literally obsessed with Taco Bell

If anyone wanted to sponsor Taco Bell for their engagement, it would be Selena because she’s obsessed with the chain. For Valentine’s Day, Benny said People he bought her Taco Bell, made nachos at the movies, and found her favorite pickles — and it was her perfect date.

People think they got engaged in August

Another theory is circulating on social networks which Selena and Benny have been engaged since August. Maybe he popped the question four months ago and they agreed to work with Taco Bell to announce the happy news. It certainly seems feasible.
