American businessman Elon Musk has responded to former European Commissioner Thierry Bretton over accusations that he is interfering in European affairs.

“A few weeks before the new elections in Germany and during the heinous attack on Magdeburg, Elon Musk, the most influential person on Platform X and a potential member of the future US administration, openly supported the far-right party AfD. Isn’t this a classic manifestation of foreign interference? We must put an end to double standards,” said the former European commissioner, former head of the French Ministry of Economy Bretton.

Elon Musk responded briefly:

“Brother, ‘foreign intervention’. The United States is the only reason you don’t speak Russian or German.”
