‘Little chance of survival’ after plane crash in South Korea, fire official says

The remaining passengers of a crashed Jeju Air flight were unlikely to have survived, a South Korean fire official said Sunday, after rescuers rescued two survivors from the plane’s wreckage.

“The passengers were ejected from the plane after it collided with the barrier, leaving little chance of survival,” local firefighters said in a statement. The plane carrying 181 people from Bangkok to South Korea crashed on arrival, leaving 85 confirmed dead.
