Bunnie XO says she’s ‘finally ready’ to be a mom and has had 2 ectopic pregnancies

Rabbit XO is ready to settle into her role as a mother.

The podcaster, 44, born Alyssa DeFord, spoke in an episode of her podcast on Thursday, January 2. Stupid Blonde with a psychic medium and explained how she has experienced several miscarriages in the past and now feels ready to become a parent.

Bunnie, married to a country singer Jelly rollborn Jason DeFord, is the stepmother of Jelly’s two children: Bailee Ann, 15, and Noah Buddy, 7.

“I just feel like I’ve healed so much trauma with my parents that I’m finally ready to be a parent,” Bunnie said. “I’ve helped raise Bailee since she was 7, and I think that also showed me that, hey, I’m not going to ruin a kid’s life too much.”

“But I feel like I’ve mastered…not mastered, but I feel like I can do it. You know?” she continued. “And I just want a little piece of J and me together.”

Later in the podcast, Bunnie talked a little about the “trauma” she suffered, which included a few ectopic pregnancies.

“I’ve been pregnant three times in my life. When I was 16, I got pregnant the first time I had sex, and I ended up having an abortion because I was afraid,” she admitted. “I didn’t know what to do. I was on the run. And then after that, three years later, I had an ectopic pregnancy. I had two ectopic pregnancies.”

In July, Bunnie shared on the season finale of her podcast that she and her husband were I’m thinking about having a baby together.

“I would have a hard time carrying a baby,” Bunnie said, sharing that she had experienced “many” miscarriages and couldn’t emotionally handle another loss now that she had stabilized her mental health after a difficult year in 2019.

“I feel like I’ve accomplished so much in my life. And the only thing left is to raise a baby and garden,” Bunnie said. “I’m in my little mom’s (sic) gardening era.”

When she asked Jelly Roll how he would feel about having a child together, he replied, “I would love to have a baby with you,” she recalled. This surprised her, but he said he had always felt this way.

“Now he’s really excited about (the idea of ​​having a child),” Bunnie said, explaining that he favors surrogacy.
