Viewers of ITV’s latest series, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! saw McFly’s Danny Jones take the title of King of the Jungle, with Coleen Rooney an admirable runner-up and Reverend Richard Coles securing third place.

Despite not landing top spot, Richard formed an unexpected bond with Loose Women’s Grace ‘GK’ Barry, giving the audience plenty of laughs and sparking calls for the duo to team up for their own show after the jungle.

During his appearance on Lorraine’s Wednesday show, Richard hinted that something could be on the horizon for him and GK. Lorraine observed: “You were the heart of that show and everyone came up to you, just to talk to you because you’re so easy to talk to.”

She then asked about a possible collaboration: “But you two, everyone was speculating, can you do something together?” Richard didn’t hold back, confirming that plans were indeed in the works.

He announced, “We’re going to do something together. We actually have a date. Later today, and we’ll see. I’m taking her to the opera!”

The couple’s adventure will see them delving into each other’s worlds, with Richard adding: “We’re going to explore our worlds, so I’m taking her to the opera and she’s taking me to, shall we say, a spa day with some. intimate grooming.

The air was thick with suspense as Lorraine expressed her unease, telling Richard he was in for quite a surprise. To which Richard replied: “She told me what it was and I thought it was a vuvuzela that we get at the World Cup, but it’s a vajazzle.”

With a knowing look, Lorraine warns Richard that whatever GK has planned for him, it promises to be an adventure into the unknown. She remarked, “It will be interesting!” »

As last year came to a close, audiences were delighted to see GK and Richard together on screen again during his appearance on Loose Women, where he reflected on his time on the show, reports the daily report.

Despite a project with Richard and GK in the works, fans of the duo want them to join Celebrity Gogglebox instead.

Taking to social media, one person said: “Your friendship with Richard was so sweet. You definitely need to be on Celebrity Gogglebox. Please put him on your podcast.”

Another enthusiastic fan pleaded: “You and the Reverend need to go on Gogglebox. Echoing the sentiment, another viewer insisted: “Grace has given us some of the best conversations with Richard, I need a Gogglebox celebrity episode with them both as soon as I’m going to miss them.”

Lorraine is available to watch weekdays on ITV from 9am.
