A woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a pickup truck outside Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston Friday morning.

The incident happened at the intersection of Binney and Francis streets around 8 a.m., officials said.

The woman was rushed to the nearby emergency department, according to a WHDH. report. His identity has not been revealed.

Boston police issued a travel advisory just before 9 a.m., warning the public of the traffic impact.

“Traffic Advisory: BPD is on scene at Binney and Francis Streets for a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The victim’s injuries are life-threatening. Traffic is closed at this intersection and this will impact all traffic in the hospital area,” police wrote on X.

An accident reconstruction team responded to the crash site and the driver remained at the scene with investigators, according to WHDH.
