The Jersey Government has urged islanders not to delay filing their 2024 personal income tax returns.

The government has urged people not to delay filing their 2024 personal income tax returns.

The Jersey Government has said citizens will be able to file their tax returns online from January 13.

He said paper tax returns would also start being sent from Monday, which usually takes about 14 days to be delivered islandwide.

“The advice is don’t delay, file early,” the government said.

He said: “This is even more important for those employed whose circumstances have changed and need an updated ITIS rate.

“The ITIS rates will be reviewed and reissued once we have the 2024 tax returns and can prepare the 2024 tax bills.”

The paper filing deadline is May 31, while the online filing deadline is July 31. More information can be found at the government website.
