Morning coffee: coaching could tip the scales at the Super Bowl 59

In the National Football League, the spotlights always shine the brightest of the biggest superstars in the game.

Their ability to dominate at the highest level with the type of speed, strength and talent that makes them appear almost superhuman, this is what leaves football fans amazing each Sunday of the NFL.

In twelve days, some of the best stars in the league will again take the front of the stage when the Chiefs of Kansas City and the Eagles of Philadelphia will meet at the Super Bowl 59.

Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones will direct the two Super Bowl title champion. Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and Jalen Carter should guide the Eagles of the NFC champion.

In the last days preceding the Super Bowl 59, we will have the opportunity to read, watch and listen to a ton of breakdowns and analyzes on the main players who should make the type of games that change the game that will end up with finish being the difference in the final of the season.

Most if not all this information will be important for anyone to bet on the big game to consider.

Hopefully, at some point, we hear much more about the role that the coaches of the two teams will play in the result of the Super Bowl. It seems that none of the two has the credit they deserve for their pending seasons.

It is the morning coffee of Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Coaching could tip the scales at the Super Bowl 59

How many times have you listened to someone to do everything possible to blame an NFL coach after a loss?

How many times have you listened to someone to do their best to give the credit to a trainer for the victory?

Following the championship on Sunday, I heard a lot of discussions on Mahomes and Josh Allen, and rightly so. Mahomes and Allen are among the league elite QB, and only one could go to the Super Bowl in the AFC loaded.

I also heard of Dalton Kincaid and Buffalo’s final offensive game in defeat against Kansas City.

Then there are all the discussions on the referees.

It may be easier to point out individual games and the role than penalties – called and useless – play in the result of the championship games, but it seems lazy.

It also seems that none of the coach staff received the credit they deserve.

The Eagles won 17 of the 20 games, going back to the regular season, and they just overcome several notable injuries to establish a franchise record for their greatest margin of victory during a victory in the playoff series in the NFC championship.

However, I can count on the one hand the number of people I heard to rent Nick Sirianni and his coache staff. I can promise you that it would be short of the city in Philly if the Eagles lost eight consecutive qualifying series.

Meanwhile, when his career is over, Andy Reid could be considered the greatest coach in NFL history.

He is the most victorious coach in the history of the chief franchise. He is also the most winning coach in the history of the Eagles franchise.

By watching the film of the victory of the AFC championship on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, it is remarkable to see how Reid puts his players in a position to succeed.

Kansas City heads for its third consecutive Super Bowl. It will be the sixth appearance of the Super Bowl by Reid – Lin Don Shula for the second by a head coach of all time behind Bill Belichick (10).

The chiefs have now won 17 consecutive games. It is a remarkable feat in itself.

Especially lately, I have heard wild outlets on the reasons why Kansas City continues to go to the lead in tight matches.

Personally, I believe that it is a mixture of elite, elite coaching and unrivaled intention talents that have led to their modern dynasty.

At the very least, this combination helped the Chiefs to win nine consecutive qualifying games and to become the first two -time title champion to go to three consecutive super bowls.

The spread of the Super Bowl 59 opened its doors to the Chiefs -1.5 in Fanduel. Two days later, this number has still not moved. I heard a few people that I respect in the Paris space argue that they believe that the number will move in favor of the Eagles at a given time.

As a person who is sitting on the chefs to win everything at +550, I was not interested in moving from my post.

The fact that the spread of the Super Bowl 59 is less than a goal on the ground testifies to how these teams also equal on paper.

With the propagation remaining under a goal on the field, training could finally make the difference in the biggest game of the season.

Hopefully, whatever the result, the staff of the winning coaches get the credit they deserve. They have certainly played a more important role in the success of their team that it seems that most occasional football fans recognize it.
