Intersa Sanpaolo issues a 2,07 billion dollars acquisition, increases 2025 Outlook

Intestsa Sanpaolo issued a 2 billion euros ($ 2.07 billion) and increased its 2025 net income prospects after its fourth quarter was considerably exceeded expectations.

The Italian lender said on Tuesday that he is now expecting that his net income of 2025 is much higher than 9 billion euros for which she previously guided. He will launch the acquisition in June, he said.

Its net profit in the three months to the end of December was 1.50 billion euros, compared to 1.60 billion euros during the same period of 2023.

The operating profit, its leading figure, increased to 6.67 billion euros, against 6.40 billion euros the previous year.

The figures slightly beat expectations for a net profit of 1.49 billion euros and were considerably higher than operating profit expectations of 3.15 billion euros, according to the estimates of analysts provided by Visible Alpha.

Net interest income - The difference between what lenders earn loans and pay for deposits, and a key engine - were made at 3.80 billion euros, against 3.995 billion euros.

The lender based in Turin declared a final dividend for 2024 of 0.34 euros per share, against 0.15 euros the previous year.

Its level 1 ratio of common equity - a measurement of balance sheet resistance - followed 13.9% at the end of the period.
