Why can’t Rams Qb Matthew Stafford make love of the media that he deserve?

Since the 2018 NFL season, only three -quarters have won a Super Bowl title. Patrick Mahomes who will go for his fourth title on Sunday, Tom Brady who won seven Super Bowls, and Matthew Stafford.

Stafford’s early reputation in the NFL has been tarnished due to the incompetence of the Stafford Lions Front, but since its departure, Stafford has been one of the most successful passers -by in the NFL. During the four years since he joined the Rams, Stafford made the playoffs three times, won two NFC West titles and the Super Bowl LVI.

However, he does not find his name far from the discussion of the first five QB and is often left out in the list of the first ten. For what? Names like Mahomes, Jackson, Allen and Burrow are constant in the list of the first five, but what do these players do that Stafford has not already done?

Stafford has the talent of the arm, he has the numbers and he has praise to justify praise. “Well, Stafford has no MVP.” Josh Allen or Joe Burrow either. Drew Brees has never won MVP, but does that mean that he has never been a QB among the first five?

Stafford had more yards by the pass than Allen and had more supplements than Allen and Jackson during the regular season. Before someone lifted the argument of weapons, Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp were non-carpets during the first six weeks of the season due to injuries and yet Stafford always made her hitting her.

So what should be done to get involved in the conversation? He is one of the best passers -by in the NFL but receives no love. He actually wins in the playoffs, a factor that so many analysts use to discredit the QB, so why does Stafford not have the benefit of doing the work?

The argument of weapons to discredit Stafford does not discredit Joe Burrow. You can’t say that the Stafford Super Bowl came from the Kupp Triple Crown season when Ja’mar Chase has just won the triple crown and Burrow did not make the playoffs. Although it is not Burrow’s fault, Bengals did not make the playoffs, how do people consider him so superior to Stafford actually beat him for a title.

Each argument that excludes Staff Discussion is easily defeated with logic. However, no one in the media is ready to face the truth about the current state of QB and the opinions of the public about them.
