The night 2 of the blinds was more a “wow” or a “whatevs”?

The night 2 of the blinds was more a “wow” or a “whatevs”?

The voiceThe blind auditions of season 27 of season 27 continued on Monday with 11 other candidates singing for their supper (and only nine of them were served). But did one of them get you out of your seat? Read the rest and we will discuss it.

Tatum Scott (Team Kelsea), “Vampire” – Grade: C + | Although the two chairs turn began hard in its lower register, it seemed to be weakening while its cover of Olivia Rodrigo continued. (Is this what happens when “vampire” does not do blood?) Nevertheless, Kelsea Ballerini released all the stops to recruit the most likely candidate to win a Kelsea Ballerini competition.

Bryson Battle (Team Legend), “A Song for You” – Grade: A | With an incredible range and apparently unlimited vocal confidence, this four -chairs tour delivered an interpretation of the classic ballad which was so beautiful, Michael BublĂ© was moved to exclaim: “You could have the greatest voice as I never heard. ” I wouldn’t go that Far, but Bryson was exceptional.

Jordan Allen (team legend), “Old Time Rock & Roll” – Grade: B + | I was not quite crazy about Jordan’s vision on Bob Seger; It was a bit karaoke. However, I was Crazy about the enthusiasm with which Jordan sang and impressed by the rotation he could put on a given note. “I turned around,” said Michael when the two chairs turn was finished, “because I could hear versatility.”

Hayden Grove (Team Adam), “Mack the Knife” – Grade: B | Even with Adam Levine shouting at Kelsea to block Michael, you could hear that Hayden was good. He had a swing, a boastful and a nice light touch that sold the number without overcoming it. Why did he deviable not turn Michael her chair? Hayden had used vibrato as a pop singer, a non-no, apparently, when he made the classics.

Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea), “Where are wild things” – Grade: B + | Jaelen’s Luke Combs cover, 21, was as solid as concrete. He has a great country voice, the genre that makes you think that he is ganging with asphalt and a convincing scene presence to start. Even John Legend, who doesn’t Tur for Jaelen, noticed the authenticity in his tone.

Ricardo Moreno (Team Michael), “Put your head on my shoulder” – Grade: b | There was something a little forced in the blind of Ricardo; nerves probably. Despite this, it was obvious that he had a better voice than average, he could just need a little help knowing exactly what to do with it. Especially given the way he was feeling The song, I was happy that Michael used the replay of his coach to save him.

Ari Camille (team legend), “I want to be on the ground” – Grade: A- | Ari had not even arrived at the choir of his Brandy blanket before the “texture dope in his voice” was inspired John to pivot his chair. You could say that Ari was also a major in theater, because she did not sing under the spotlight, she emotional, adding passion and power to a performance marked by marathon races.

Braxton Garza (Team Michael), “Pretty Little Poison” – Grade: B + | Braxton’s Twang was so country, I felt like I had to shoot whiskey while listening to his blind. Beyond that, however, when he opened his voice, it turned out that he also had a good range, and the ability to fill large round notes like so many water balls.

Britton Moore (Team Adam), “Yellow” – Grade: C | Adam immediately returned when he heard Britton’s opening notes. But I will be damned if I heard what so dazzled the four coaches. The 21 -year -old seems to be a sweet and passionate child, but his Coldplay cover was completely punching. I love a character voice (see also: Mark Shiiba of season 26) but, uh, not this one.
