Lozells: Police search for murder suspect and five people arrested

Detectives are searching for a 27-year-old man they want to speak to in connection with a murder after a 39-year-old man was killed in Birmingham earlier this year.

Ekrimh Mena’a, 39, died after being found with stab wounds on Hunters Road, Lozells, following a disturbance in the early hours of September 30.

A second man in his twenties was also seriously injured.

Five men, aged 21 to 38, from Birmingham were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and remained in custody for questioning, police said.
