Watch Federico Chiesa finally take off for Liverpool

It’s been a long road for Federico Chiesa since his move from Juventus to Liverpool this summer.

Under new boss Arne Slot, the Italian international has only managed 18 minutes of Premier League action for the Reds, but today he reached a major milestone.

Five months after arriving in England, Chiesa finally found the back of the net, albeit in a 4-0 win over League Two side Accrington Stanley.

In scoring at Anfield, Federico emulated his famous father Enrico, who scored for Italy during Euro 96 at the same stadium.

Is this the spark Chiesa needed to launch his Liverpool career?
