The best vinyl releases of December 2024

The best vinyl releases of December 2024

Anyone who thought the vinyl resurgence was just a fad was wrong: the industry has undergone a true revival. As a result, music fans are engaging with physical media in a way they might not have if the decades-old medium hadn’t made a comeback. This doesn’t mean that everyone only listens to their parents’ old music. That’s part of it, of course, thanks to reissues that present classic albums in a new light. However, an essential element of the renewed vinyl wave is the release of new projects in the form of records, of which there are many.

Whatever you like, each month brings its share of new vinyl releases that will please everyone. Some naturally stand out above the rest, so check out some of our favorite December vinyl releases below.

pulp Fiction OST

Interscope

The soundtrack to end all soundtracks. Okay, maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but the influence of pulp Fictionboth as a film and as an album, cannot be overstated. I recently watched the film in a crowded theater and was struck by how the “music video” still plays, with big musical numbers tying the scenes together. This new 30th anniversary pressing of the film is available on glow-in-the-dark vinyl and will please every vinyl lover in your life.
