Lawyer Saif refutes government claims about Murad Saeed’s presence at Islamabad protest

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) spokesperson Barrister Saif has rejected Information Minister Attaullah Tarar’s claims regarding Murad Saeed’s presence at the Islamabad protest. He called the allegations “absurd” and “completely false,” according to Express News.

Reacting to Tarar’s statement on Sunday, lawyer Saif said: “Tarar is completely lying. His claim that Murad Saeed was present at the Islamabad protest is ridiculous. He added: “If Murad Saeed was indeed present at the protest and was not arrested, then the incompetence of the authorities should be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. »

The spokesperson also refuted allegations that Murad Saeed was present anywhere in KP. “Murad Saeed is not in KP, and Ata Tarar is also lying about it,” he added. He accused Tarar of making up stories and urged him not to spread baseless lies.

Saif also slammed Tarar for contradicting his previous statements. He recalled that soon after the tragic incident, Tarar had filmed a video at D-Chowk, claiming that no bullet casings were found at the site. However, Tarar claimed that armed PTI groups had opened fire during the demonstration.

“If shootings did indeed occur, why did you initially state that no bullet casings were found? » asked Saif, accusing Tarar of covering up the truth with a series of lies.

Additionally, the KP government spokesperson questioned Tarar’s account of the protest, demanding clarification on the overnight power outage and who was responsible for pushing a person pray on the container. “Was PTI responsible for pushing a praying person onto the container? he asked.

Lawyer Saif concluded by stating that misleading the public through press conferences will not succeed in suppressing the truth. “No matter how much Ata Tarar cries, the truth cannot be hidden,” he said, criticizing the tactic of blaming others for actions he believes are self-inflicted.

He drew parallels with the Model Town incident, where innocent PTI workers were allegedly blamed for violent actions.
