Lehigh Valley Weather: Light snow expected through Thursday evening will impact evening travel

A report from the National Weather Service was issued at 3:48 p.m. Thursday for light snow until 10 p.m. for Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

“Light snow across the region will cause untreated roads to be covered in snow this evening, while even some treated roads may become covered in slush. This will have an impact on evening travel. Motorists are advised to exercise extra caution and allow extra time to reach their destination. Snow is expected to end over most of the area around midnight,” according to the weather service.
