Vespa-Hersteller Piaggio stellt Production in Italian ein

Pontedera: Der Italian Traditionshersteller Piaggio schließt sein Werk in der Toskana. It sleeps under the 75-year-old carrier on three Rädern Ape and the Vespa Motorroller. Sie werden künftig nur noch in Indian product. Dort sind die Kosten geringer, sowie die Sicherheits- und Umweltvorschriften weniger streng. The first small transporter of the Ape type was built in 1948 in the Tuscan town of Pontedera for the group – two years after Piaggio was the first Vespa-Roller on the market to be found there.
