The Bills are doing everything they can to break this NFL record

The Buffalo Bills are pulling out all the stops to get a brand new stat that shows just how big the team is. Currently, the Bills are tied with 13 different players who scored a receiving touchdown. That means one extra touchdown by a player who hasn’t yet caught one will give the Bills an NFL record with 14 different players.

Josh AllenKhalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Amari Cooper, Mack Hollins, Curtis Samuel, Tyrell razors, James Cook, Ray Davis, Ty Johnson, Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid and Quintin Morris have passed touchdowns so far for the Bills.

The team could use a few different players to break this NFL record. We could be calls Frank Gore Jr. and have Mitchell Trubisky hit him on a quick, flat pass toward the goal line. They can also use Reggie Gilliam here as well. Which makes these two options the most likely.

Another option would be to use their 6th tackle eligible offensive lineman, Alec Anderson (or another OL player) in the red zone.

The final option would be to call up KJ Hamler from the practice squad, who still has two elevations remaining. Jalen Virgil (max of 3 elevations used) and Zach Davidson have used their maximum elevations and it is unlikely the Bills will make a roster move for either.

Regardless, it appears the Bills will break this team record with one of the remaining options.
