Olise marks twice while Bayern returns from behind to beat the 5-1 shakhtar

Michael Olise du Bayern Munich managed a double in the second half when he returned after having conceded an early goal to win 5-1 against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday to win his first victory outside in the competition this season.

Bayern’s third consecutive victory in the eighth row of automatic qualification places with 12 points, while the Shakhtar is 27th with four points, three points from the playoffs.

Bayern had suffered defeats in its two previous games outside in the competition and was led after five minutes when the in-depth balloon of Oleksandr Zubkov found Kevin, who cut inside Kim Min-Jae Before sending his shot to the most distant corner.

The Germans were tied six minutes later. Olise lost possession in the surface but the balloon fell gently on his teammate Konrad Laimer who took a touch to control it and then smashed his effort in the roof of the net.

The Shakhtar had the opportunity to come back in front, but Georgiy Sudakov placed his shot next to it after an excellent pass from Kevin made him come out almost from the penalty spot.

Bayern came down to the other end, Jamal Musiala took the ball in the surface and made a pass to Thomas Mueller who did not make any error with a simple split finish just before half-time.

The Shakhtar put pressure on Bayern at the start of the second period but failed to find a second goal before visitors won.

Bayern thought they had extended his advance when Musiala came back from a corner, but the goal was scored for a fault on the goalkeeper. However, a few minutes later, the referee reported a fault by Alaa Ghram on the replacement Sacha Boey.

Olise intervened in the 70th minute and although goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk went in the right direction, the ball was propelled into the upper skylight to indeed put Bayern at the controls.

Musiala scored the goal he deserved thanks to an excellent performance three minutes from the end, recovering a free ball in the surface and exceeding Riznyk.

There was still time for a little olise magic in additional time when he made his way skillfully through the defense of the Shakhtar before calmly find the lower corner with his shot.
