Bold 3-word message from Micah Parsons

Bold 3-word message from Micah Parsons

Micah Parsons

Heavy on the Cowboys

Micah Parsons had a message after the Dallas Cowboys’ recent victory on Thanksgiving Day.

THE Dallas Cowboys are on a winning streak and are star passers Micah Parsons think this is just the beginning of the franchise. Following the team’s 27-20 victory over the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Day, Parsons took to social media to express his confidence in the Cowboys’ progress.

“We’re not done “, Parsons said in a message dated November 28, 2024 on X.

Dallas has two very winnable games left against the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers in back-to-back weeks. Without wishing to spoil Parsons’ hopes, things get a lot more difficult as December ends.

The Cowboys face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders to close out the season. The good news for Dallas is that two of these last three games are at home.

Cowboys have less than 1% chance of making NFL playoffs

Dallas still faces an uphill battle to make the playoffs. Even after the Cowboys’ two recent wins, Dallas has less than a 1% chance of making the NFL playoffs, according to Athletics computer model.

The Cowboys are in 12th place in the standings. NFC Ranking at 5-7, well behind the Washington Commanders who sit in last place at 7th in the playoffs with a 7-5 record.

“Now I’m focusing on the Bengals, understanding how they’re going to attack us, who they have,” Parsons said on Nov. 28. by Todd Archer of ESPN. “They have guys.

“Hopefully we’ll have D-Law (DeMarcus Lawrence) and maybe Trevon (Diggs), so we’ll be fully loaded, and I know they will be. I’m looking forward to that.

The Dallas Cowboys currently hold the 14th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft

The challenge for the Cowboys is that the team’s slow start has likely eliminated the franchise from playoff contention, especially with the Eagles and Commanders expected to make the playoffs. Dallas’ recent winning streak also means the Cowboys are falling into the NFL Draft Order.

After previously being in the top 10, the Cowboys hold the 14th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft heading into the remaining Week 13 games. Nate Tice of Yahoo Sports and Charles McDonald project that the Cowboys will draft Michigan Wolverines defensive lineman Mason Graham in their latest mock draft.

“Dallas has been run relentlessly this year and is in dire need of improving up front and becoming a stronger team,” Tice and McDonald wrote in a Nov. 28 mock draft. “Graham helps with that and he has the potential to be a real enforcer up front, something the Cowboys are desperately lacking at the moment.”

Mike McCarthy on Cowboys’ winning streak: ‘This is where we deserve to be’

As for Parsons, the star defender had 3 tackles and 1.5 sacks against the Giants on Thanksgiving. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy still sees hope for Dallas.

“We feel a lot different today than we felt Saturday night coming into Washington,” McCarthy noted, according to Archer. “It’s fair and precise. It’s a good feeling. This is where we deserve to be. We had to fight to get there.

“We are still in the valley of adversity. We have taken two steps forward, but we still have a long way to go. We recognize it.
