Cesar Montano says Atong Ang and Sunshine Cruz ‘both deserve to be happy’

Shortly after Atong Ang confirmed his relationship with Sunshine Cruz, the actress’ ex-husband, Cesar Montano, said he was happy for the new couple.

Expressing his approval over Ang’s confirmation, the actor said, “I sincerely wish that they live happily ever after.”

“They both deserve to be happy,” he told the Philippine Star.

Cesar said he was happy for Sunshine, as he said he equated her happiness with the happiness of their daughters. “As a father, my daughters’ happiness is also mine,” he said.

He also expressed his joy and approval towards Ang, saying “Saludo ako kay Atong for being man enough to admit his relationship with Shine.”

Videos of Atong and Sunshine sharing a kiss recently went viral. In one of the videos, Sunshine is seen walking towards Atong and giving him a kiss. In another video, it was Atong who approached the actress to give her a kiss.

Sun and Caesar are now on good terms, having reconciled following their annulment in 2018. They enjoy a modern family setup and attend various functions of their daughters, Angelina, Chesca and Sam.

Sunshine’s last relationship was with a politician Macky Mathay.

Atong Ang meanwhile, was previously linked to Gretchen Barretto.
