Flavor takes flight with three new culinary experiences at YEG

Edmonton International Airport (YEG) has partnered with ECG Ventures II to introduce three new dining options: OEB Kitchen & Bar, Avalon and Wheels Up Burgers & BBQ. Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, these additions bring unique dining experiences to the airport.

Carmen Donnelly, vice president of passenger experience and terminal operations at YEG, highlighted the airport’s goal to improve the passenger experience:
“We are proud to introduce three exceptional new local restaurants, bringing more flavor and variety to the YEG experience. Providing high-quality dining options is an important part of our goal to make every airport visit not only smooth but also enjoyable. “

New culinary experiences:

1. CEO Kitchen and Bar

   • Making its airport debut, OEB will offer signature breakfast items, all-day dining and an expanded beverage menu, giving travelers a compelling reason to arrive early.
   • Chef Mauro Martina, founder of OEB, said:
     “We’ve brought our love for high-quality ingredients and innovative dishes to a new setting, making it easier than ever for travelers to experience something truly special before takeoff.”

2. Avalon

   • A long, chic bar offering fine dining with small plates inspired by comforting flavors.
   • Cocktails prepared by world champion mixologist Kaitlyn Stewart will enhance every traveler’s journey.

3. Wheels Up Burgers and Barbecues

   • Capture the essence of Alberta with aviation-themed barbecues and quick burgers.
   • Destined to provide exceptional service and memorable dining experiences.
