Croatia inflation slows more in March | 01.04.25

(RTTNEWS) – Consumer prices inflation of Croatia was held for a second consecutive month in March, the prices of food and energy increased at larger rates, the preliminary data of the statistical office showed Tuesday.

The consumer price index increased by 3.2% after an increase of 3.7% in February, flash estimates.

Among the main components, food, drinks and tobacco prices increased by 4.4% in annual sliding after growth of 4.9% in the previous month. Energy inflation slowed down for 2.1% against 3.6%. The inflation of services accelerated at 6.0% against 5.7%. The prices of non -food industrial products dropped by 0.2% to reverse a gain of 0.2% compared to the previous month.

The IPC climbed 0.4% compared to February when it dropped by 0.1%.

Inflation, based on the harmonized consumer price index, slowed down 4.3% in March, against 4.8% in February. EU inflation measurement increased by 0.5% compared to the previous month when it was unchanged.

The end results of March CPI and HICP should be published on April 15.
