Air Products names Eduardo Menezes to succeed Seifollah Ghasemi as CEO

Washington (DPA -AFX) – Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APD) announced Tuesday that the board of directors appointed Eduardo Menezes as Director General (CEO) of air products, from February 7, 2025. will succeed Seifollah Ghasemi, who leaves the company after more than 10 years of dedicated service. Menezes will also join the aerial product card.

Menezes brings a vast international experience in all key sectors of industrial gases, including sites, commercial liquid, packaged gases and hydrogen. At his last post, he was executive vice-president (EVP) of Linde PLC for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Previously, Menezes worked for praxair in a variety of higher roles, especially as an EVP responsible for North America and in a series of general management and commercial development positions in the United States, Spain, Mexico and in Brazil.

The board of directors also appointed the president of Wayne Smith and Dennis Reilley as vice-president. They, with the full advice, will work in close collaboration with the leadership of Menezes and Air Products to advance the company.
