The best goal of Christmas was scored by Slough Town

Slough – famous for being the setting for the original version of The Office and Sir John Betjeman’s poem.

But one more thing could be added to that list now after a remarkable Boxing Day goal.

The Rebels, who play in the National League South – the sixth tier of English football – drew against neighbors Chesham United over Christmas.

And it was largely thanks to Scott Davies that they claimed a share of the points.

How about this for a party favor!
