Next-generation Intel “Nova Lake” processor spotted in shipping manifest succeeds Panther Lake

Next-generation Intel “Nova Lake” processor spotted in shipping manifest succeeds Panther Lake

TL;DR: Intel’s upcoming Nova Lake processors have been spotted in shipping manifests, indicating progress on their next-generation consumer platform. After Panther Lake, Nova Lake is expected to be produced on Intel 14A or TSMC 2nm, without integrated memory. Razer Lake-S will succeed Nova Lake-S in the future.

Next-generation Intel Nova Lake processors are making headlines again, this time spotted in new shipping manifests on NBD.ltd, and hopefully ready to kick Ryzen’s ass.

Intel’s next CPU architecture will be Panther Lake, demonstrated at CES 2025 earlier this year, and will be the company’s first mainstream platform on its new Intel 18A process node. Intel is banking heavily on the new 18A process node, with mass production of Panther Lake planned for the second half of 2025, and the next processor architecture following Panther Lake will be Nova Lake.

We expect the next-gen Intel Nova Lake processors to be made on Intel 14A or TSMC 2nm as rumored, and they will NOT feature on-board memory (that was a one time thing for Lunar Lake). The shipping manifest listing is almost a month old, which means Intel is hard at work on its next-generation consumer processor platform, which will succeed Panther Lake when it launches later this year.

Intel’s next-generation Razer Lake-S processors will succeed the Nova Lake-S, but are not expected for a few more years. AMD has really been cooking with its Ryzen processors over the past few years, leaving Intel with its work cut out for it… and its new management team after Pat Gelsinger is now complete.
