HBO defends JK Rowling’s involvement in new Harry Potter TV series

HBO has defended its decision to involve JK Rowling in the creation of its new Harry Potter television series.

In a statement, the company said: “JK Rowling has the right to express her personal opinions. We will remain focused on the development of the new series, which can only benefit from his involvement.”

“To Di For” podcast host Kinsey Schofield says the show will be a “successful project,” which HBO knows.

“So, you know, why don’t we back up a bit,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
