Girl charged with murder of homeless man near King’s Cross

A 16-year-old girl has been charged with the murder of a homeless man killed while sheltering in a bin in central London.

Anthony Marks, 51, was attacked in the early hours of August 10 in Cromer Street, near King’s Cross St Pancras station.

The girl, from Brixton, south London, cannot be identified due to her age. She is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later.

In October, a 17-year-old boy from Dagenham, east London, was charged with the murder of Mr Marks and is due to stand trial next year.
