Railway stations in Prayagraj adhering to the protocols after the jostling in Delhi

Given the jostling of New Delhi station on Saturday which made 18 lives and the huge influx of the faithful coming to attend the Maha Kumbh, the Prayagraj stations were directed to ensure strict membership in the protocols previously published to prevent All Undoward Incident.

North Central Railway Pro chef Shashikant Tripathi, told PTI: “We are ensuring strict implementation of the protocols previously published. We have managed to carry out Bath Rituals on Mauni Amavasya, based on Panchami and the same protocols will also continue in the future.” As part of the protocols, the entrance is authorized on the side of the city and the exit from the civil line side to the junction of Prayagraj, and the passengers are kept in the detention zone until the trains arrive on platforms.

Inspector Shiv Kumar, Inspector of the Railway Police Forces (RPF), which is displayed in Prayagraj Junction, said that the crowd of the station was under control.

North Eastern Railway, Ashok Kumar, said that all previous protocols are followed at the Jhunsi and Rambagh stations, and that passengers are kept in the detention area until the trains arrived.
