Fully funded scholarships, which cover living expenses, tuition fees and sometimes even travel costs, offer a glimmer of hope. British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM

The British Council Women in STEM Scholarship is available to South Asian female students studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). This scholarship aims to increase the number of women in the workforce by encouraging female students to continue their studies in STEM-related disciplines.

Commonwealth Scholarships

Students from Commonwealth countries, including India, are eligible to receive Commonwealth Scholarships. Its aim is to help postgraduate students who would otherwise not be able to continue their studies in the UK. Each year, around 700 students from various academic disciplines benefit from Commonwealth scholarships.

Rhodes Scholarship

The Rhodes Scholarship, based on merit and designed to develop civic-minded leaders, is awarded to students applying for postgraduate programs at the University of Oxford. More than two hundred Indian students have benefited from the Rhodes Scholarship since it was first awarded to them in 1947. Each year, five Rhodes Scholarships are awarded to Indian students. Cornell University Scholarship

Approximately 20 Indian students are supported each year by the Tata Scholarship at Cornell University, sponsored by the Tata Education and Development Trust. Each year, the university awards a scholarship to qualified students for the duration of their enrollment in the Cornell undergraduate program.
