Italian Super Cup 2025: announcements of teams and calendar

The 2025 Italian football season will open with the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh. The format will be the same as last year when Inter managed to triumph in the final against Napoli, which is the Final Four format. The teams participating in the competition will be Between, Atalanta, MilanAnd Juventus.

Regulations

The regulations specify that in the event of a tie at the end of regulation time, there will be no extension and the referee will go directly to shots on goal.

Since last season, the regulations regarding cards and suspensions have also changed. Players from teams participating in the Super Cup who are suspended in the championship will not miss the Super Cup semi-final but will serve their suspension in the next championship round. Only a red card in the semi-final can cause you to miss the Super Cup final.
