The best dressed women of 2024

From the usual awards season red carpet merry-go-round to the year-end fashion extravaganza that was Wicked press tour, 2024 was another year for stellar celebrity looks. But who really showed off their style this year? It’s time to count down the best dressed women of 2024.

After having conducted a very official and scientific survey among Luxury London office, let me introduce you to the ten women we think have been killing it on and off the red carpet this year. And, while I’m afraid neither Ariana Grande nor Cynthia Erivo are on our list (sorry, we found the entire Wicked something that looks a little too much like cosplay), there might well be some surprises in our selection. Read on to find out which women will inspire you in 2025 – plus a few shout-outs to the stylists who make the fashion magic happen.

If you’ve ever caught one of Jodie Turner-Smith’s red carpet appearances, you’ll know that she’s a woman who clearly loves fashion. Unlike many stars who are content to strap on in yet another sequinned column dress and get the job done, Turner-Smith revels in everything that is extravagant, strange and joyous about fantastic fashion. Never one to opt for navy blue or silver when bubblegum pink and canary yellow are on offer, if you’re a little above the endless sea of ”influencer beige” that fills your feeds, Turner-Smith is the style inspiration to turn to.

Pamela Anderson probably didn’t expect to find herself among the best dressed women of 2024. In fact, it was the year she officially announced that she was done caring what the world thought of her appearance, hitting the red carpet several times. without makeup. And while, yes, it’s a little depressing that in 2024, that’s still enough to make headlines, Anderson’s sleek new look has allowed her rather wonderful fashion sense to shine through. With a penchant for classic Oscar de la Renta evening gowns by night and Armani suits by day, this is an everyday uniform I can get on board with.

4. Kelly Rutherford

Kelly Rutherford is the woman I want to be when I grow up. Poised, elegant and with a very clear idea of what she likes and doesn’t like when it comes to fashion, Rutherford has established herself this year as one of the world’s great style icons. It helps, of course, that she’s also a huge fan of one of my favorite designers – Roksanda – sitting front row at the British designer. London Fashion Week shows and wearing a Roksanda dress at the Fashion Awards This year. Rutherford also likes an all-white ensemble of the type you can only wear if there’s a standing cab waiting for you outside each venue. Lily van der Woodsen eats your heart out.

Finally, in pole position, is Zendaya. Zendaya and her longtime stylist, Law Roach, are an undeniable couple in fashion heaven, and their influence is felt far beyond the red carpet. Remember the tenniscore trend from this spring and summer? Triggered by the court-inspired looks Zendaya wore while promoting Challengers. In fact, Zendaya is something of a pro when it comes to dressing methodically, wearing, among other notable looks, a 1996 Mugler robot couture to promote Dunes IIVintage Bob Mackie to honor Cher at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and not one, but two incredible Maison Margiela dresses by John Galliano for the Met Gala. All bow before the reigning queen of fashion.
