Trump does not rule out military intervention in Greenland as his son visits the island

Donald Trump would not rule out military or economic pressure to take control of Greenland.

“We need Greenland for national security reasons,” Trump said at a news conference Tuesday, hours after his son landed in Greenland.

Justin Wells, the producer of “Art of the Surge,” a documentary series documenting Trump’s return to power, accompanied Trump Jr. to Greenland. He posted a video on it showed Trump calling to speak with Nuuk residents.

“It’s a very special place. It has a great need for security for itself and it also has a great need for security for the world,” Trump told the group.

Ahead of his son’s trip, during which no official government business takes place, Trump reiterated his desire to take control of Greenland.

“I heard that the people of Greenland are “MAGA”” Trump said on Truth Social: referencing his campaign slogan Make America Great Again.

“Greenland is an incredible place, and people will benefit immensely if and when it becomes part of our nation. We will protect and cherish it from a very vicious outside world. LET’S MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!” Trump added.
