Trump suggests that Israel turns Gaza to us after the end of conflicts – World

Washington, February 6 / TASS /. President Donald Trump suggests that Israel transforms Gaza in Washington after the end of the conflict in the Palestinian enclave.

“The Gaza Strip would be given to the United States by Israel at the end of the fighting,” he wrote on the Truth social platform.

According to Trump, “the United States, working with large development teams around the world, would slowly and carefully start building what would become one of the largest and most spectacular developments of this type on earth.” No soldier in the United States would be necessary! The stability of the region would reign! “Added the American president.

“The Palestinians, people like Chuck Schumer (the leader of the Democrats in the American Senate who earlier criticized the Israeli government – Tass) have already been resettled in much safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern houses, in the region. They would actually have a chance to be happy, safe and free, “said Trump.

Trump said at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on February 4 that Washington plans to play a long -term administrative role in the Gaza Strip to develop the Enclave for Peace Middle East. He called to relocate the Palestinians of the enclave in other countries of the region, which, in his words, could finance the costs. Trump also noted that the United States was ready to send troops to Gaza if necessary.

Arab nations and several Western countries have opposed Trump’s proposals. In particular, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared on February 5 that Paris had not accepted the ideas of the American chief, while the German Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock described a potential expulsion of the Palestinians of Gaza as unacceptable and incompatible with international law. According to Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Moscow is aware of Trump’s initiatives, as well as positions from Egypt and Jordan, who refused to support him.
