However, as Android titles Notes, a dedicated crash detection app has existed in OneUI since version 5.1.1, although Samsung never enabled it.

It’s likely that crash detection on Galaxy would work similarly to the feature’s implementation on the iPhone and Pixel, using sensor readings and potentially AI to detect a car crash and allowing then the user can call emergency services with a simple tap or swipe.

Speaking of AI, the Samsung Galaxy S25 range could come with a 12-month free trial year. Google Advanced Gemini, according to another rumor reported by Android Authority.

Although we don’t expect the AI used in accident detection to be paid, some AI features from the Google suite are kept behind the Google One AI Premium plan, which normally costs $19.99/18 £.99 / AU$30 per month.

Gemini Advanced gives users access to Gemini’s Pro model, which the company says is better at logical reasoning, as well as the latest experimental model better suited to coding and math.
