Five of Ukraine’s nine nuclear reactors reduce electricity production due to Russian attack – IAEA

Due to a massive Russian missile attack on December 13, five of the nine nuclear reactors operating in Ukraine had to reduce their power.

This is what a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reveals on X, quoted by Ukrinform.

“Today, five of Ukraine’s nine operational energy units have reduced their electricity production due to new attacks on energy infrastructure,” the agency’s statement said.

Earlier, on December 12, the 35-nation IAEA Board of Governors adopted a resolution condemning attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, but did not explicitly place responsibility for the attacks on Russia.
