Elon Musk, Donald Trump Gun for the media inherited in the United States

The billionaire and the head of the new US Department of Government Elon Musk (DOGE), as well as US President Donald Trump, have adopted media houses inherited in the United States. The attempt to discredit the inherited media is channeled via X.com, the social media platform belonging to Musk and Truth Social where the president generally publishes.

Reuters responded to the position of Musk saying that the contract was “represented in an inaccurate manner”. He said that the contract had been awarded to Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS), a separate division of the news agency. The news agency also obtained a clarification of the Tabatha Thompson spokesperson of the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), which is the R&D branch of the American army. Darpa had funded the contract in question. Thompson was quoted by Reuters saying: “Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) was competitively selected to serve as an assessor to test the defensive tools. … They (Thomson Reuters) have evaluated the effectiveness of our defensive tools . “

The American government’s website www.usasprend.gov lists contracts from different government agencies to different suppliers. Cumulative research on the site shows that different reuters arms have received 140 million funds since 2008.
