A thief who stole nearly £ 50 alcohol at a service station was found for the courts more than £ 3,500 when he appeared in the platform.

The 23 -year -old admitted the display flight when he appeared before the District District Judge Claire Furlong at the Sevenoaks magistrates court on January 21.

The court heard Bridges, from Hunters Way, Tunbridge Wells and another man, stole alcohol in the garage of St John’s Road in the city on August 22 of last year.

James Nichols, pursuing, said: “It is a simple offense flight offense, there was a co-defender.

Andrew Main, in defense, said Bridges had taken full responsibility for the crime by pleading guilty in the first opportunity and that he was incriminated by low level.

Mr. Main added: “If you could directly deduce services, yes, there are £ 3,000 in suspense and these (costs) do not pay for train prices.

“There are £ 3,600 in total and he obtains £ 233.76 per month of benefits.”

The rate in force of deductions from the services of the courts is £ 20 per month and if the bridges continue to pay at this rate, it will take 15 years to reimburse the amount.

Judge Furlong said that she had little sympathy for people who stole alcohol in the shops, but because he had not had previous convictions for display and did not have Offensive since, she has placed it for a parole of 18 months.

The other man who was charged as part of the flight also faces three other charges of display and who will appear before the courts in August.
