Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla appears before the court for 2021 troubles

It is alleged that she was one of the instigators of the troubles that saw looting and large violence in Kzn and Gauteng for several days.

In an article on social networks, the Umkhonto We Sizwe party confirms the appearance on Thursday before the Zuma-Sambudla court.

It is not yet clear what charges she will face.

During the disorders, several messages were carried out on violence on what was considered to be Zuma-Sambudla’s Twitter account.

In November 2022, the NPA of Kzn was asked if Zuma-Sambudla was one of the dozens of people under investigation for prompting the looting and vandalism which left more than 300 dead and cost the saving of the billions of rands.

At the time, the provincial director of public prosecutions only said that the case was difficult to deal with, as sufficient evidence was necessary.
