CSEET January 2025 Exam Today; Key Guidelines for Applicants

Today, January 11, 2025, the January 2025 session of Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) will be administered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Candidates can appear from any location as the exam will be conducted under remote proctoring.

Physical testing centers will not be used; instead, the exam will be administered remotely under proctoring.

Exam Guidelines:

Candidates must use a laptop or desktop computer to appear for the exam. Cell phones, tablets, handheld computers and similar gadgets are not permitted.

The Secure Exam Browser (SEBLite) must be downloaded, installed and tested on candidates’ devices as per the guidelines. You must complete this step well in advance.

A remote proctor will monitor candidates during the test via real-time audio and video. This ensures compliance with exam rules, just like in a real exam center.

Candidates must register on the testing portal at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.

To maintain decorum during the examination, candidates must wear appropriate attire.

Required documents:

Admit card

Government-issued proof of identity (one of the following):

Passport

Driving license

PAN card

Aadhaar card

Voter card

Important note:

Candidates must carry the admit card and identity proof.

Entry will be refused if these documents are not presented.

Passing marks:

A minimum of 40% on each of the four tests (papers 1, 2, 3 and 4) and a total of 50% on all tests.
